The Food Business Refresh Program offers FREE Customized training & coaching and FUNDED Implementation.

Who is Refresh for?

  • B.C. based micro to small food processing companies impacted by COVID-19 (not subsidiaries of larger companies)

  • Food processing companies established by or before 2019

  • Companies with annual sales between $30,000 - $750,000 (Preference given to companies with sales less than $250,000)

How Refresh Works

Refresh is an opportunity to work in a small group along with your peers, business coaches, and food industry specialists in a dedicated stream – developing your own tailored plan of action for your business and access to the tools that help you get it done!

  • The Refresh Program includes:

  • Virtual Workshops: 2 sessions per week for 3 weeks

  • One-to-one coaching

  • Online learning platform available 24/7

  • Practical exercises and resources specific to your needs

  • Sourced & confirmed technical expert(s)

  • Contracting/hiring experts to package, market, design, print

  • Purchasing production and/or packaging equipment

How to Refresh

The Phases of the program

PHASE 1 - Assess your needs through an online workshop series. PHASE 2 - Pairs you with a Technical expert who will provide practical direction and support. PHASE 3 - Help you implement by contributing to the cost of services.
